History

Bob and Janice Wheeler founded the company in 1989 and their passion has been to help healthcare professionals create extraordinary practices through our core management training and expert one-on-one consulting.

Meet the AMI team

Janice Wheeler
President / Co-Owner

Janice is the fun and fearless leader of a super talented team of insightful and creative strategists, who passionately deliver exceptional help to their clients in reaching beyond the level of success they envisioned for their practices.  In her off time she is very engaged in volunteering and loves doing photography.

Bob Wheeler
VP of Production / Co-Owner

Since 1989, Bob has been dedicated to turning our clients’ goals into realities, allowing them to achieve their personal and professional goals. He helps them learn to run successful stress-free practices. Bob is very in to cooking, photography and he is always reading some exciting novel.

Andrea Wheeler
VP of Administration

Andrea is a veteran of AMI starting off as Receptionist and moving through various positions, some of which were Director of Communications, Director of Publications, Marketing Assistant and Presidents Assistant.

Maureen Chinweokwu
Director of Client Admin

Maureen is a professional with over 12 years of corporate experience. She relocated to Canada from Nigeria with her family in October 2018 and joined the AMI team in November 2018.  Her expertise spans across client services, relationship management, statistics and data management.

She loves to read for leisure and spend time with her twin girls, son and husband.

Tish Peters
Marketing Assistant
With over 7 years of experience in administration, Tish fully supports the Marketing Division on the Marketing and Sales strategies. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and daughter doing outdoor activities, traveling and going to the movies.
Claire Smit
Director of Training

With a background of more than 30 years in administration and training, Claire loves helping our clients get through and understand their training so they can easily go back into the practice and implement the management technology they now have.

Liz Zahari
Part-Time Supervisor

With more than 25 years experience as an educator and trainer, Liz is here on a part-time basis to help ensure our clients will get the most out of their training alongside Claire.

Since I started working with the team at AMI, my physiotherapy clinic has made huge progress.
