Whether you know it or even want it as a title, everyone is a leader in some part of their lives. Mothers and fathers are leaders. Owners of practices are leaders. Staff can be great leaders within the practice as well.
Great leaders have many defining qualities and some of them are listed below. What ones are you good at and which could use some work:
KNOWS WHERE HE/SHE WANTS TO GET TO CONFIDENCE IN HIS/HER GOALS GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS EVEN BETTER LISTENING SKILLS ABILITY TO SEE THE POSITIVE QUALITIES IN ANOTHER SKILL IN COORDINATING TEAMS AND SCHEDULES RESPECT FOR THEIR STAFF COURAGE TO MAKE DECISIONS PERSISTENCE IN FOLLOW THROUGH TO GET THE END RESULT SELF-MOTIVATED CAN ADMIT WHEN WRONG TRUSTING OF OTHERS AND THEMSELVES BEING AVAILABLE TO THE TEAM
Getting most of these going in yourself will give you the power to be a good and strong leader. Practice one each week and enjoy the results.
